Semiconductor laser chip technology targeting industry pain points

HCSEL chip has obvious advantages in many specific applications. In autonomous driving area, HCSEL chips could simultaneously solve the three major pain points in the demand for laser light source were Lidar to become popular, namely, high power, wavelength stability and human eye safety. For laser machining, HCSEL chip can overcome the reliability bottleneck of direct semiconductor laser with its high reflection resistance. At present, products based on HCSEL chips have several patents granted.
