Low power consumption and high power have always been the tireless pursuit of laser industry researchers. LEMON Photonics recently launched the world's leading multi-junction multi-area VCSEL laser chip, integrated wide area, high power, long distance, low power, anti-interference, customized design and other advantages, greatly enriched and met the miniaturization of various smart devices, proximity sensing, laser lighting and other application.

Optical system integration is developing in the direction of miniaturization, fast sensing, low power consumption and high power. Traditional VCSEL lasers use a single chip coupled with optics to illuminate different locations of the target, thereby reducing the size limitations of the detector array and the reflection of light sources in high-reflectivity areas, and the optical design is complex. LEMON Photonics' newly developed 905nm and 940nm multi-junction addressable VCSEL chip designs solve the industry pain points of package miniaturization requirements for optical integrators and further provide optical performance.

DToF technology has been an indispensable technology in smartphone camera enhancement assistance and proximity sensing functions such as tablets and laptops. With the continuous expansion of application scenarios, the original popular single point dToF has been unable to meet the needs of users.

The LEMON photonics multi-junction addressable VCSEL chip can realize the zoning lighting, adjust the control signal strength of each area, improve the overall work efficiency and reduce the redundant laser, and reduce the power consumption.

Multi-junction multi-partition VCSEL enables more flexible lattice plots to be constructed for advanced 3D structured light algorithms. Achieve greater distance detection and reduce ambient light interference.


The LEMON Photonics' multi-junction multi-area VCSEL configuration is divided into 4x1, 9x1, 12x1, 16x1, 64x1 regions or 2x2, 4x2, 4x4, 8x2 regions. Each zone can individually control the work, measure the distance, and each mode can flexibly control the FOV and focus areas depending on the application. 940nm multi-junction multi-area VCSEL

The innovation of multi-junction and multi-zone VCSEL technology further improves the working efficiency, peak power and pulse rise time of the laser. Due to the strong economic demand in the consumer, industrial and automotive markets, the VCSEL is bound to shine in the LiDAR, high-end consumer electronics, TOF modules, infrared lighting, assisted driving and other markets.
